The Central Church of the parish of Simon Bolivar is located on the main square of San Agustin Parque Principal The church was open and almost deserted. One of the most picturesque and colorful places in Medellin and all of Colombia is district 13 (comuna 13). Almost all visitors to the city try to get here. . . . . . Now this area is famous for its graffiti, music and street food. But even 30-40 years ago, when Medellin was the cocaine capital of Colombia, these slums were the most criminal place on earth.
